Privacy and demonstrations

This notice describes the Cutting Edge Systems website, its email enquiry route and the fictional software demonstrations. For privacy questions or requests, contact Adam.Blatt@hotmail.com.

Proposal enquiries

The form prepares a request in your browser. Nothing is submitted to a website database. The email link opens your email app with Adam.Blatt@hotmail.com as recipient; you choose whether to send. You can also copy or download the request. Your name, company, email address, optional telephone, team information and requirements are used to respond and discuss a potential project. We rely on steps towards a contract when applicable, or legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries. Do not include passwords or sensitive customer records.

Email records and your choices

If you send an enquiry, your email provider and our Microsoft mailbox process the message. We use its contents for the requested conversation, proposal and administration. A request does not sign you up to marketing. We review enquiry records and retain them only while needed for the discussion, any resulting contract and applicable legal obligations. You may ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and portability where applicable, using the contact above. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Hosting and technical data

This site is hosted using ChatGPT Sites. Hosting and network providers process technical access information to deliver and protect the site, under their own arrangements. Email and hosting providers may process data outside the UK in accordance with their applicable safeguards. We do not sell enquiry details.

Tracking

We have not installed Google Analytics, advertising pixels or a marketing cookie system on this version. No automatic mailing list signup is included. Additional tracking would need its own privacy information and appropriate controls.

Fictional demonstrations

The owner and client workspaces are public sample demonstrations, not secure staff or client accounts. Role selectors do not enforce permissions. Example changes, notes, drafts and requests may be saved only in your browser’s local storage. They do not synchronise across devices or send notifications. Use fictional information only. Reset the demonstration or clear this site’s browser data to remove saved examples. Screenshots use fictional records; sample certificates have no validity. BB Energy Services is a separate demonstration site with its own access settings.

Before production software use

Real customer records, private files, mailbox integrations and client accounts need a separately agreed production service with secure authentication, server enforced access, storage, retention and processing terms. The website demonstrations are not that service.
